Toilets
The toilet block includes facilities for the disabled and so they are fully accessible. We also provide a baby-changing unit.
Donations Box
Entry to the farm is free and so we do not ask for donations. Nevertheless, as we operate as a charity we always gratefully accept any financial help to assist us in the work that we do. A donations box can be found in the main farm yard, near the visitors’ centre.
If anyone wants to donate on a regular basis, details of our “Family” scheme can be obtained from the office on 01446 782030 or by contacting us by email at general@ameliatrust.org.uk
Amphitheatre
The amphitheatre is used for concerts and open-air meetings. We hold our annual music festival there and some of the local Churches like the fact that they can hold services there from time to time. At our Harvest Festival we hold a service of thanksgiving in the amphitheatre.
Pond
We created the pond with a view to increasing the biodiversity options on the farm and we still have ambitions to develop this further. We shall address the problem of cutting back the reed beds so that we can better identify the range of wildlife currently using the pond and then we might be able to conduct a full audit of the varieties in situ.
Celtic Cross
The inscription on the Cross reads, “Care, Creation, Community” and this epitomises the philosophy and rationale of the farm in a very simple way. The Celtic Cross is the perfect symbol and is a ready point of focus and attraction.
BBQ
We have two barbecue sites on the farm, both of which can be booked for use by anyone who wishes to do so. Please call the office on 01446 782030 for details.
Free Parking
Access to the farm is completely free of charge, including parking. It gets a bit full from time to time but we fit everyone in somehow or another!!
