Amelia Trust Farm Shop » Meat Sales
We currently have around 100 free range hens with plenty of space to strut their stuff. We collect the eggs as part of our daily routine and are usually available for sale by midday. Why not try them boiled or scrambled on toast!
We have a number of different breeds of pigs at the Trust, Gloucester Old Spot, Welsh white, Saddle back and Berkshire. With a breeding programme in place the Trust sells various pork and bacon products direct to the public.
We also run a commercial flock of 50 sheep, breeds of ewes include Jacob, Swaledale, Welsh Mountain and Ryeland.’ The flock consists of predominantly Lleyn ewes but also includes Jacob, Swaledale, Welsh Mountain, Clun, Ryeland. All these are put to a Lleyn ram which is a prime meat breed, with ewes lambing in and around the Easter holidays. The Trust lamb is renowned for being very tender and tasty.
Please contact general@ameliatrust.org.uk for information on lamb, pork and bacon.
