We look to work with other charities and charitable organisations wherever possible so that we harness as many resources as possible and avoid duplication of effort whenever we can. Some of the organisations with whom we are currently working are:-

In 2002/2003 The Amelia Trust farm won the Biffaward Overall Winner category as well as the “Community” category. Biffaward is a scheme initiated by Biffa Waste Services under which they donate landfill tax credits to projects that help the environment. The scheme is administered on their behalf by The Royal Society for Nature Conservation.

Our links with the local circuit of Methodist Churches are very strong and the majority of our numerous volunteers come from this source.

We work closely with Valeways to open up the local countryside to everyone.

We have a successful partnership with Innovate Trust with our Garden and Polytunnel project where adults with learning difficulties can learn work skills that are easily applied in the community at large. The youngsters who attend the farm for work experience also benefit from this alliance.
We are also currently working on some joint ventures with the management and staff of a number of large companies and we shall post details of a selection of these projects from time to time. The local Rotary Clubs are using our facilities to host their Rotary Kids-Out Day in June…so no peaceful countryside that day but a load of fun for all!
