We’ve had some lovely spring sunshine over the past two weeks, and our young people and staff have been very busy. Ewes (sheep) starting to lamb on Wednesday 18th March and ‘Gucci’ our Saddleback sow (pig) farrowed 11 piglets on Thursday 19th March. Please note at present the animal centre is a special quiet zone as lambing continues through the month of April.
New season Trust Lamb and Pork available’ – there will be no lamb available until end of the Summer. However Sausages, Bacon, Gammon Steaks and Gammon joints are currently available in the Visitor Centre.
