FIELD STUDY CENTRE

The field study centre is an old stone barn which has been converted into a beautiful resource that contains an environmental education library, providing an excellent opportunity for people of all ages to learn about the countryside.

The centre is available for hire as a private room, and at the same time you are also free to enjoy the rest of the site with a nature walk/wild piglet trail (brown/red flower marked paths through the woodlands), a conservation grassland area and pond.

Ideal for smaller conferences and meetings, this room comfortably seats 25 people and has visual and audio conference facilities available.

BUNKHOUSE

The Hilda Dore Bunkhouse is set within the old farmyard in a converted barn. The bunkhouse is suitable for group bookings, sleeping up to 30 people.The bunkhouse has been adapted for disabled users.

The bunkhouse has a self catering kitchen with plenty of food storage space, cooking utensils and crockery.

SPORTS HALL / CONFERENCE CENTRE

The sports hall is suitable for groups to hire for 5-a-side football (1/2 size pitch), with the flexibility of also using it for badminton/short tennis (2 courts) or for volleyball/basketball. Shower/toilets and changing room facilities are available also. Alternatively, the hall can also be used as a conference centre with seating for up to 300 people.
