The voluntary Council of Management governs the Amelia Trust Methodist Company Limited. Its role is to set the overall objectives for the company and to ensure that the organisation remains within its moral and legal obligations. The Council of Management retains ultimate control of the actions of the company.

The Finance and Strategy Sub-Committee meet on a bi-monthly basis to monitor the financial position of the organisation and prepare recommendations to the Council of Management.

The Amelia Trust Farm is a registered charity (Registered Charity number: 1053468) and is controlled by its governing document, a deed of trust, and constitutes a limited company, limited by guarantee, as defined by the Companies Act 2006 (Registered Company number: 02541591).
