Health and Safety Good hygiene is important at our Farm. Please wash your hands with soap and water after contact with animals, using our play area and before eating (including sweets, gum and ice cream) and drinking. There are hand washing facilities available in our Animal Centre and Toilet Block.Please wear sensible footwear when visiting the Farm. We’re in the countryside so there’s lots of opportunities to walk but this is often over grass and there may be some uneven paths.Please remember parents/carers are responsible for looking after children. Please do not touch or feed the animals unless supervised by Farm staff. Children should not be sat on the top of fences or climb on the fences or gates. Visitors are advised to dress appropriately and according to the weather conditions. Please drink plenty of water and use sun cream during hot, sunny weather.Areas of the Farm which are off limit to the public display the necessary signage. Access is prevented with the use of barriers, gates and padlocks. A defibrillator can be found in the Farm Kitchen Café. All of our fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting and other emergency equipment are inspected by externally qualified technicians.Please keep dogs on a lead at all times and scoop up their mess.
