The Methodist Church in Wales was involved in setting up the Farm when benefactors Bob and Ethel Huggard donated the land with derelict buildings and barns to create a living memorial to Bob’s mother Amelia.  Their vision was to use the Farm as a ‘rural lung’ for a variety of people but especially those who are  disadvantaged and vulnerable in attempt to foster self-help, build confidence and enhance employment prospects which to this day remains the core purpose of our charity. There are no restrictions placed upon the individuals who can benefit from the aims and objectives of the Farm.  The Church continues to support the work of the Farm as a prime example of service to the community and caring for the vulnerable and excluded from society. Members of the Methodist Church are also active as trustees and volunteers at the Farm. Wales Methodist Trust Logo
