Projects and capacity building We have been fortunate to receive grants and support from various organisations to enable us to invest in our infrastructure and improve the services we deliver. Three year grant from BBC Children in Need to run a project for vulnerable 16 - 18 year olds to help them with the difficult transition into adulthood. We aim to make a difference to their emotional wellbeing, self-belief, empowerment and aspiration levels to help their chance of finding employment. Capital grant from the Fairwood Trust to build a new Farm Shop and to invest in capital infrastructure including new music and multimedia equipment. Tesco Bags of Help grant was used to refurbish the Animal Centre so it is more accessible, interesting and inviting for children, young people and those with disabilities. We are also grateful to the following organisations who have provided funding to Amelia Trust Farm: Barry Town Council BBA Executive Air Cardiff Round Table Church in Wales Mission and General Fund D M Thomas Foundation GC Gibson Charitable Trust Huggard Charitable Trust Mary Homfray Trust Methodist Church Royal Bank of Scotland Charity Trust Waterloo Foundation
