We would like to thank everyone who has fundraised for the Amelia Trust Farm.  Without this help and support we would not be able to continue the work we do supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.

This month we would like to thank the following people for their fundraising activities.

Cheque presenationA MASSIVE thank you to the Blue House family for their magical Christmas fundraising light display, which raised a phenomenal £2290!

Every year Tony and Linda Ware transform the front of their house and garden into a Christmas Lights Wonderland, in aid of their chosen charity. This year we were fortunate to be chosen as the recipients. Unfortunately the collection was stolen initially with all the money raised, but thanks to the Wares resilience, the local community and organisations such as Barry Round Table, they rallied together and raised a huge £2290! We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the friends and supporters of the Blue House and Amelia Trust Farm and the funds will go towards our animal's welfare.

St Illtyds Primary SchoolWe would like to say a HUGE thank you to Mrs Llewellyn’s class from St Illtyd's Primary School, Llantwit Major who raised £47 for us from the sale of Christmas decorations hand made by the pupils.  Well done everyone!  The funds raised will help us pay for food and hay for our rabbits and guinea pigs.

Another BIG thanks goes to Chris Riches and friends for their generous donation of £100.  Chris organised a sweepstake for his friends during the Euro 2016 football.  Chris and his friends chose us as the charity they wanted to donate the sweepstake proceeds to.  This money will help us to buy straw for our four donkeys who help us deliver our therapeutic learning programme to the young people we support.
